Introduction

As part of its Summer Friday Policy, the Company will allow eligible employees to take a defined amount of paid time off to be used in addition to the Company’s year-round paid time off policy, subject to the parameters described herein.

Eligibility

Full-time employees who have been employed in a full-time capacity in their current role for a period of six (6) months will be eligible to participate in the Summer Friday Policy. An employee whose productivity is presently being monitored under a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) will be ineligible to participate in the Summer Friday Policy.

Period

From the period June 15 to August 31, eligible employees will be permitted to leave their desks or workstations at or after 3:00 p.m. provided they have worked a minimum of five (5) hours on that day.

Requirement to Notify

Employees are required to notify their managers at least two (2) business days in advance of taking advantage of the Summer Friday Policy. This requirement to notify applies in each instance; for example, an employee must notify their manager each week if they plan to take advantage of the Summer Friday policy.

Restrictions

An employee’s use of the Summer Friday is subject to the approval of an employee’s manager. The Summer Friday Policy is subject to change without warning at the Company’s sole discretion and the parameters of the Summer Friday Policy are not guaranteed. The Summer Friday Policy may be suspended in whole or in part according to an employee’s performance, team performance, or the needs of the business.
